- We return from a successful fund drive with our new series, "Triple A: Artists As
Activists", where emcees and musicians are invited to speak on not only their music but on a cause that is near to their heart and art. Tonight we have artists Bambu and EphNiko!
- Straight outta Cali, Bambu (formerly of Native Guns) and DJ Phatrick talk about growing up on the west coast amid gang violence and using the organizational hierarchy of gangs for good. Bambu, also shares about the Native Guns break up and he and Kiwi's philanthropic efforts to aid The Philippines via various charities such as Shirt the Kids and BKP-NY.

- EphNiko visits Rise Up Radio from a southern perspective. Hailing from Florida, EphNiko fights for unity in the world and in his music while reaching those that are receptive to the message!

celebrated with an anniversary show @ the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
- Propaganda Anonymous spoke on an event called Inifinity Blessings which dealt in the issues surrounding youth, Hip-Hop and consciousness. The panel of the event featured Allah B from the Nation of God & Earth, Chaka Zulu from Zulu Nation, Brother Shep from the original Black Panther Party/Zulu Nation, King Downing (Attorney/Activist), Why-G from the Optimus Foundation/Zulu Nation, & Propaganda Anonymous from www.realitysandwich.com
- Why-G (contact him at:optimuspeace@yahoo.com) discussed details of his work with Chaka Red with their own non-profit called The Brian David Jones Foundation along with Urban Artbeat.
- For the later part of the show everyone in this particular cipher explained the active details of their community based non-profit work that take place in projects, after school centers, prisons, etc. And also what influences people to reach out and help others and why it is so significant to do so.
