The American Academy of Pediatrics has (finally) recommended comprehensive sex education as the best way to prevent adolescent pregnancy. We'll speak with the lead author of the AAP report and a staff attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union Reproductive Rights Project.
- African American History in Philly Schools
Philadelphia public high school students are the first in the nation who are required to take a course in African American history in order to graduate. We speak with legendary African American studies scholar Molefi Kete Asante who helped to design the new curriculum.
- PATRIOT Act Action Update
Some provisions of the infamous PATRIOT Act are set to expire at the end of this year. We'll talk with the Bill of Rights Defense Committee about how to make sure that happens right on schedule.
